People Making a Difference
In this video, produced by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the group Teens Take a Stand was recognized as part of the association’s annual luncheon honoring those making an impact in the nonprofit industry.
Founded by Harrison Snowden (second from left) in 2017 at Ponte Vedra High School, Teens Take a Stand hosted two community events that raised thousands of dollars for both Betty Griffin Center and Hubbard House.
With Harrison now attending college, the Teens Take a Stand group is still at work — with plans to hold another fundraiser sometime in 2019.
