St. Augustine, Fla. (May 23, 2019) – Ponte Vedra resident Andrea Anthony, who has nearly 30 years of experience in accounting and has served as a director and treasurer for several nonprofit boards, has been elected to the Betty Griffin Center Board of Directors.

Anthony, who is licensed as a certified public accountant in both Florida and Colorado, is also a certified divorce financial analyst (CDFA).

She currently works as a financial consultant with her own Jacksonville-based firm, Changing Tides CPA, LLC. Her company provides divorce financial analysis and support services, and business and personal accounting consulting such as company oversight, tax strategies, internal control reviews, cash flow management, budget forecasting and other services.

In addition, she currently serves as the finance director for St. John’s Academy in St. Augustine where she has been for more than 20 years.

Anthony has also volunteered as a senior financial consultant for Chicago-based Global Business Assist, where she advised and provided accounting support to nonprofit agencies in Kosovo, Albania and Sudan.

She began her career with stints in the two firms that would later become Price Waterhouse Coopers, eventually moving to Florida and working as controller for Fletcher Land Corporation in the early 90’s.

Anthony received her masters of science degree in accounting from the University of North Florida.
