Pickleballers are invited to compete in a fun-filled round-robin tournament to benefit Betty Griffin Center and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse in St. Johns County during the first annual ‘Pickleball for Peace’ competition on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Veterans Park, located at 1332 Veterans Parkway, Saint Johns, FL 32259.
Prizes and trophies will be awarded to the winning pickleball players and no partner is needed. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, it’s a great opportunity to support a great cause while having a blast on the court, and serve, dink, and score for peace during the holiday season.”
Registration is $45 per player and the event is open to all skill levels, ages 16 and up. Players will receive individual scores as they team up with rotating partners for multiple games. Pickleball players can sign up at https://bit.ly/BGCPickleballForPeace2023.
Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 and games begin at 9 a.m.
