Thanks to everyone who braved the cold to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence at the 3rd annual Betty Griffin Center Breakfast on Feb. 23 at The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach. We saw many new faces among the sell-out crowd as they found out more about our mission — and heard directly from a 40-year-old survivor of domestic violence who now has a new job, her own home and a safe place for her three children — thanks to the emergency shelter, legal help and support she recieved from the Betty Griffin Center.

Also, our appreciation to Kirsten Martino, President-Elect at the Women’s Giving Alliance (pictured here), who spoke to guests from a donor-perspecitve. Women’s Giving Alliance has donated about $600,000 over the last 11 years to our organization. Finally, thanks to all our board members who spoke and volunteered at the check-in table.
Proceeds from the breakfast help the center fund its emergency and support services — which includes an emergency shelter, two Rape Crisis Units, transitional housing, counseling, legal and financial education programs, and preventive education programs.
