A heart-felt thank you goes out to Melissa Feezor and Mia Rajsky and company Raw Materials for holding a ‘Pop-Up Fundraiser’ on Nov. 8 – with proceeds benefitting the Betty Griffin Center.
Hosted by Casa de Vino 57 in St. Augustine, the event offered guests a night of fashion fun, philanthropy and female empowerment while they shopped the latest styles from Raw Materials and got some bargains from their sample sale rack – with 100 of the event proceeds donated to the agency.
In addition, the first 10 guests who booked a custom piece had 50 percent of that purchase also go to the Betty Griffin Center.
Raw Materials sees 25 billion tons of waste as a commodity and a viable textile alternative for the future of fashion and our planet. Raw materials is an upcycled clothing line refashioned from 100 percent textile waste. For more information on Raw Materials, visit its Facebook page.
